Four star Saguaro (AZ) athlete Denzel Burke announced earlier today that he had narrowed down his list of schools to ten contenders.
Burke’s list of schools is half full of PAC-12 programs, but the Longhorns made the cut for the two-way stand out from the Grand Canyon State.
This is the game I LOVE and without the Man upstairs none of this would be possible. Thank you to all the schools that recruited me and I am still 100% open to all schools but these are my focus as of now. #TopTen pic.twitter.com/4BkHR6DjWU

Prying Burke away from the West Coast powers will take some work, but Tom Herman and his staff have had some recent success in the state of Arizona, so it’s not too far fetched.
The Longhorns signed five star running back Bijan Robinson in February and the cycle before that they were able to land Jake Smith and Brayden Liebrock.
The Texas staff frequented Saguaro over the past cycle as they relentlessly pursued Burke’s former teammate Kelee Ringo, so there should be good bit of familiarity between both parties moving forward.
