Port Arthur (TX) Memorial four star defensive end Jordon Thomas announced last month that it was down to in-state rivals Texas and Texas A&M in his recruitment, as the Longhorns and Aggies were set to go head to head to earn his commitment.

Thomas is one of the state’s top defensive linemen and has long been a target for both Texas and A&M despite missing his junior season due to a lower leg injury.
Well it looks like a decision has been made by the edge rusher from the Golden Triangle, as he took to Twitter earlier today to announce a decision date for tomorrow afternoon.

This was already set to be a highly contested recruitment between the two in-state programs, but with Pleasant Grove’s Landon Jackson going off the board to LSU, Thomas becomes an even bigger priority for both coaching staffs.
Thomas is officially on the clock and both sides will soon know which side of the rivalry he is heading to.
