3-star RB Jonathon Brooks sets decision date

Halletsville running back Jonathon Brooks is announcing his commitment later this week.

Three star Halletsville (TX) runninh back Jonathon Brooks announced on Twitter today that he has set a decision date for later this week.

Brooks has been on the Longhorn radar since last November when the Longhorns were the first program to extend him an FBS offer.

With a decision date in place, the Longhorns appear to be the heavy favorites to land Brooks, as 100% of the 247Sports crystal ball picks are in favor of Texas.

Brooks was named the District 14-3A MVP in 2019 and helped lead Halletsville to a quarterfinals berth in the state playoffs.
