And then there were four. Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal School four-star center James Brockermeyer narrowed his list schools down to four and the Texas Longhorns remain in the mix for the top center prospect in the country.

The Longhorns, along with Alabama, Auburn, and LSU, make up the list of finalists for Brockermeyer.

Brockermeyer and his twin brother Tommy are arguably the biggest priorities on the board for Texas this cycle and the firm belief is that the brothers will play together at the next level.

Despite being Longhorn legacies, both James and Tommy are not guarantees to land in Austin and the Texas staff will have to bring their A game to fend off very formidable competition to land the twins this cycle.

Brockermeyer is rated as the top center prospect in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings and is the 192nd ranked prospect overall.
