Michael Dickson. Ryan Bucjevski. Isaac Pearson.
The Australia-to-Austin connection continues for the Texas Longhorns with the addition of punter Isaac Pearson to the 2021 recruiting class on Friday.
I am incredibly excited and honoured to announce that I have accepted a full scholarship to study and play football at The University of Texas. #HookEm #trUTh21 @CoachTomHerman @CoachJ_Boulware @Coach_Horny @BCarringtonUT @ProkickAus @JohnnyPKA @ConquestCQ pic.twitter.com/9DTxvLLoul

Like Dickson and Bucjevski, Pearson is a product of the ProKick Australia academy that has produced numerous punters and kickers, often players with a background in Australian rules football. The program has been so successful that 75 Division I players, 17 All-Americans, and five Ray Guy winners trained there.
Pearson is now the 11th commitment in the 2021 recruiting class for the Longhorns. The class ranks No. 14 nationally and No. 1 in the Big 12, according to the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
