On Wednesday, 2022 four-star athlete Dasan McCullough of Olathe (Kan.) Blue Valley North announced that he has narrowed his list of schools down to ten schools and the Texas Longhorns are still in contention.
McCullough is the top-rated prospect in the state of Kansas in the 2022 class, and he has 40 reported offers to his name.
McCullough’s list of suitors took a significant haircut with his newly-released grouping and the Longhorns are one of the programs that still remain in the mix for his services.

Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC are the other schools currently under consideration by McCullough.
McCullough is the 73rd-ranked prospect overall in the country, according to 247Sports, and the two-way Blue Valley North stand out is going to have his pick of blue blood programs when it comes to decision time.
There is still plenty of time before the 2022 class will be making decisions, but it is safe to say that this recruitment will be highly contested, as McCullough is a high priority for just about every program in the nation.
