Texas extended an offer earlier today to three star La Porte (TX) athlete Albert Regis.
Regis is a jumbo athlete that stars both as a tight end/H-back and also anchors the La Porte’s defensive front at nose tackle.

This was easily some of the most entertaining and intriguing film I’ve seen to date this cycle, as the big man shows interesting athletic traits on both sides of the ball that have the eye of college coaches.
Regis is a nose tackle that is going to make you do a double take when he splits out wide on offense and then proceeds to show you that he can be very effective in that role.
Regis earned first team all district honors at tight end and was also named the district’s Sophomore of the Year in 2018.
Minnesota held Regis’ commitment earlier this year, but in May he opted to reopen his recruitment and since some bigger programs have come calling. Texas is now in the mix for Regis’ services and since de-committing he has added offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.
