DeSoto (TX) four star defensive lineman Shemar Turner announced earlier today that he has narrowed his list of schools down to five.
Turner is viewed as one of the top defensive end prospects in country and his finalists reflect how highly sought after he has been this cycle.

The Longhorns are among Turner’s finalists heading into the summer and they will have to go head to head with the several members from the SEC to earn his commitment.
Along with the likes of Alabama, Georgia, and LSU the Longhorns will also have to fend off in-state rival Texas A&M.
It now remains to be seen if Turner is willing to take his time and visit all five schools this fall once the dead period is lifted or if he will expedite his timeline as we’ve seen other prospects do this cycle.
Heading into his senior season, Turner will be looking to build off of a strong junior season where he earned first team all-district honors after accumulating 54 tackles, 10 TFLs, and 8 sacks.
