Big 12 Conference releases revised Texas schedule

The Longhorns haven’t set the non-conference game, but won’t leave the state until traveling to Stillwater in late October.

Following the Big 12’s late Tuesday decision to move forward with a fall football season despite cancelations by the Big Ten and Pac-12, the conference released a revised schedule on Wednesday morning. Most of the dates were adjusted, but the home and away locations remain the same.

For the Texas Longhorns, that’s means staying in the state of Texas for the first three conference games, including the Red River Showdown at the Cotton Bowl against Oklahoma in early October.

The conference plans to play the Big 12 Championship game on either Dec. 12 or Dec. 19.

The non-conference game for Texas remains to be determined.
