- Oklahoma Sooners sophomore defensive end Jalen Redmond was arrested and charged with drinking and driving earlier this week, according to 247Sports. From 247Sports: “... Redmond was pulled over at 3:34 a.m. in Norman, took a Standardized Field Sobriety Test and was then taken to Cleveland County Detention Center. Oklahoma is scheduled to return to fall camp on Friday after taking a brief break once the Sooners pushed back their opener against Missouri State from late August to September. Redmond was a 4-star prospect in the 2018 class out of Oklahoma City (Okla.) Midwest City according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, but 247Sports’ experts rated him as a 5-star prospect and the No. 16 player in the class.”
