Things appear to be picking up steam between the Texas Longhorns and Royse City four-star wide receiver Ketron Jackson.
Jackson recently took a trip down to Austin to take in the campus and even though he could not have contact with the staff, the trip was enough to put Texas right back in the mix for his services.
Royse City 4 ⭐️ WR Ketron Jackson is hearing a lot from Texas, Arkansas, and TCU as he closes in on a decision.

His self-guided trip to Austin last week helped put the Longhorns back in the top grouping, but could it help shut the door on this heated recruitment? pic.twitter.com/bVrJDdKBKd
Things seemed a bit quiet on the surface between Jackson and the Longhorns, but the combination of his trip to Austin and close friend Phaizon Wilson committing to Texas has the good vibes flowing.
Arkansas and TCU have been mentioned as the main competition for Jackson, but the Longhorns have recently received four Crystal Ball forecasts on 247Sports.

Jackson reportedly is looking to decide in the coming weeks, so with the momentum on the side of the Longhorns they are in a good position to secure his commitment.
If Jackson ultimately commits to the Longhorns, he will be the second wide receiver to join the class along with New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton receiver Casey Cain.
A consensus four-star prospect, Jackson is ranked as the No. 147 player nationally and the No. 27 wide receiver, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
