Longhorns trending for 3-star OL Michael Myslinski

Are the Longhorns closing in on their second O-Line commitment?

It’s been a tough cycle for the Texas Longhorns staff recruiting offensive line prospects, but it looks like the Longhorns could closing in on their next commitment at the position.

Herb Hand has been hard after Jacksonville (Fla.) Bishop Kenny center Michael Myslinski since April and Myslinski could be close to rewarding Hand’s recruiting efforts, as several more Crystal Ball picks in favor of the Longhorns came in from 247Sports on Tuesday evening.

With James Brockermeyer committing to Alabama, Texas has turned up the heat on Myslinski and have been going head to head with Iowa and Michigan State for his services.

Both Texas and Michigan States reportedly have benefited from having pre-existing relationships with the Myslinski family and both received unguided visits over the summer.

The Longhorns need to get back on track when it comes to offensive linemen for this cycle, and a commitment from Myslinski could be exactly what the doctor ordered.

A consensus three-star prospect, Myslinski is ranked as the No. 988 prospect nationally and the No. 12 center, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
