Texas CB Josh Thompson won’t return against UTEP

The redshirt junior suffered a cut that required stitches.

Early in the second half agains the UTEP Miners, Texas Longhorns redshirt junior cornerback Josh Thompson left the field after spending some time in the medical tent.

The 6’0, 198-pounder started at cornerback for the Longhorns and turned in arguably the best performance of his career.

In addition to playing blanket coverage, Thompson added an interception and two tackles on the edge.
