The Texas Longhorns have extended an offer to three-star Mansfield Summit offensive tackle Jacoby Jackson.
Jackson is a former TCU commit, who recently re-opened his recruitment last week.

Jackson has a pretty long offer sheet to date, as the Longhorns are his 40th reported offer and since his de-commitment from the Frogs he has been trending towards in-state Baylor despite being a TCU legacy.
With the way offensive line recruiting as gone this cycle for the Texas staff they are clearly leaving no stone unturned. Jackson projects as a tackle at the next level and those kinds of bodies are a high priority for the staff right now.
It will be interesting to see if Texas can make up ground with Jackson considering they are arriving a bit late to the party, but at this point in the cycle you have to shoot your shot.
