Ten days after the Texas Longhorns announced Steve Sarkisian as the program’s new head coach, Sarkisian and his wife arrived on the Forty Acres only hours after Sarkisian’s offense helped propel the Alabama Crimson Tide to the national title.

The two also received their first tour of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, which was enough to impress Sarkisian, even after spending three years in Tuscaloosa with the Crimson Tide.

Then it was on to Sarkisian’s introductory press conference that once again included introductions from Board of Regents chairman Kevin Eltife, university president Jay Hartzell, and athletics director Chris Del Conte.
