The Texas Longhorns are once again No. 5 in the latest AP Poll.
The Longhorns most recently notched a win over the Kansas State Wildcats , but that was back on Jan. 16, before the games against the Iowa State Cyclones and TCU Horned Frogs were postponed due to COVID019 concerns. Prior to the Kansas State game, Texas dropped a heartbreaking, buzzer-beater loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Red Raiders also joined the Longhorns among the nation’s most elite programs at the No. 10 spot this week.
The Oklahoma Sooners snuck their way into the AP Top 25, at No. 24, after a win over the then-No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks were ranked No. 15 in the latest AP Poll.
Predictably, the Baylor Bears are still the nation’s No. 2 team, behind the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Texas takes on Oklahoma at the Frank Erwin Center tomorrow night, at 6 p.m. Central Time.
