Unless we’re talking Texas Longhorns coaching carousel, it’s a slow news day.

That’s why I wanted to float an idea – a crazy idea, but probably not the craziest you’ve heard, nonetheless. What if Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide hired Tom Herman as their next offensive coordinator, replacing Steve Sarkisian, who replaced Herman?

I’m not alone in my thinking. 247Sports floated something similar.
