The Texas Longhorns didn’t hold a lead in the second half until the closing seconds, but they managed to walk away with a two-point win over the West Virginia Mountaineers 72-70.
As the clock wound down, a wide-open Andrew Jones drained a three from the corner to lift Texas over the hump that they hadn’t managed to get over since early in the contest. That was Jones’ fourth three-pointer for the night, capping off a 16-point performance from the junior.
