The No. 25 Texas Longhorns face perhaps their toughest off-field test of the season — how do they bounce back after blowing a big lead to the rival Oklahoma Sooners?

They’re staring down another undefeated foe from north of the Red River, the No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys. OSU has had some near misses so far this season, but are coming off of a bye week and are always ready for the Texas matchup. After losing five of six from 2013 to 2018, the Longhorns have won the last two matchups against the Cowboys, both of them by just one score.

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian addresses the media ahead of the pivotal midsesaon matchup as the Longhorns prepare to head into the season’s only bye week following the game at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
