Texas LB DeMarvion Overshown injured vs. Oklahoma State, won’t return

The Texas Longhorns defense suffered a costly loss on Saturday, as star linebacker DeMarvion Overshown went down with an injury in the first quarter.

It’s unclear what exactly occurred, but after being down on the field for a moment, Overshown headed to the locker room under his own power. He then returned to the field just before halftime, but he did so in street clothes, so his afternoon ended especially early, as he clearly won’t return against Oklahoma State.

In any case, despite the loss, the Longhorns defense held firm in his absence, limiting Oklahoma State to just six first-half points offensively.
