The Texas Longhorns went into Waco with the hopes of stemming the tide of losses and started strong, but once again couldn’t do enough late in the game and lost to the Baylor Bears 31-24.
Texas quarterback Casey Thompson had much of the game on his shoulders, as Baylor sold out to stop the run - holding Bijan Robinson to 43 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Xavier Worthy was once again electric for Texas on the receiving end with 115 yards and a touchdown on just four receptions.
The Longhorns now head home to take on Iowa State in an effort to avoid a four-game losing streak and a losing record.
