Gather around, dear children, the 2021 Red River Showdown is drawing near.
It seems some of the folks with the Oklahoma Sooners understand they’ll have their work cut out for them against Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson. Take Sooners defensive coordinator Alex Grinch’s comments on Robinson as an example, per 247Sports: “He jumps off the tape. You hope when you turn on the video it’s gonna be hype and not real. But in this particular case it matches. They’ve got a stable of running backs. ... When you think of the guys who jump off he tape, like Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb - it doesn’t take you very many snaps to see, ‘OK, this guy is different.’ If [Robinson] is not the best one out there, he’s certainly one of he best.”
Indeed.
