The Longhorn Republic gets excited about recruiting momentum

The Texas Longhorns got not one, but two big commitments over the weekend as the 2022 class starts to build some momentum. First up was the pledge of five-star quarterback Maalik Murphy, who announced his pledge on his birthday. On the opposite side of the ball, rising linebacker Trevell Johnson gives Texas its first defensive commit under the new coaching staff.
