Arlington Bowie five-star offensive lineman Devon Campbell announced on Saturday that he has trimmed his list of schools down to seven.
Campbell is the nation’s top-rated offensive linemen, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and is the seventh-ranked prospect nationally.
Campbell has long been high on the Longhorns and they made the cut along with several other top programs.

Campbell already liked Texas prior to the coaching change and he has been prioritized by Steve Sarkisian and his offensive line coach Kyle Flood since they come over from Alabama.
After having a rough go recruiting offensive linemen last cycle, you can make a case for Campbell being the top priority on the big board for the Longhorns in 2022, as it’s imperative for them to load up on quality big bodies if they plan on making their way into the playoff picture going forward.
Sarkisian and his staff have already notched some quality skill talent wins on the recruiting trail, but winning Campbell’s recruitment would go a long way in providing a firm foundation for this Texas recruiting class.
