The Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team’s descent continued this week.
The latest AP Poll, released earlier today, has the Longhorns at No. 15 this week.
That’s one spot lower than last week’s ranking, at No. 14.
Texas fell to the Texas Tech Red Raiders over the weekend, allowing Texas Tech to sweep the Longhorns on the season. Of course, this came in the same week as the Texas squad completed its own historic decoration on the year by sweeping the Kansas Jayhawks.
So, it’s safe to say this particular stretch of the season has been a mixed bag of sorts.
There was also a fair amount of movement for the Big 12 in the latest poll.
The Baylor Bears dropped to No. 3 nationally after taking their first loss of the season. The West Virginia Mountaineers moved up to No. 6. Kansas improved to No. 13. The Oklahoma Sooners fell to No. 16. And Texas Tech managed to stick around at No. 18.
