Fours-tar Phoenix (Ariz.) Brophy College Prep defensive end Zac Swanson announced on Monday that he has narrowed his top grouping of schools down to four.
Swanson named Texas along with Kentucky, Oregon, and USC in his top list of schools. Swanson is listed as the 20th-ranked strong-side defensive end prospect in country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and is the No. 344 overall recruit nationally.
I want to thank all the schools who have given me the opportunity to further my football career. It is truly humbling. I will be focusing on the following schools!! pic.twitter.com/ok8jeYM1vB

The Longhorns have done well as of late recruiting the state of Arizona and it looks like the new staff is looking to pick up where the previous regime left off.
Steve Sarkisian’s assistants have done well so far this cycle accumulating skill position talent, but they have yet to add a big body in the trenches on either side of the ball. If things continue to trend well with Swanson that could get the ball rolling, as they try to put together a top-five recruiting class.
