The Kansas Jayhawks and head coach Les Miles agreed to part ways this week.

That means Kansas has an open head coaching gig. Per Athlon Sports, among the best guys for the gig is recently fired Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman, who’s currently an offensive analyst in the NFL for the Chicago Bears.

“While Herman’s tenure didn’t work out at Texas, he’s due for another chance to be a head coach in college football,” Athlon Sports writes.

It would be an interesting offseason development.
