The No. 15 Texas Longhorns are in Ames to face the Iowa State Cyclones in a game previously postponed due to COVID-19 issues. Tipoff is at 6 p.m. Central on Big 12 Now/ESPN+.

It’s a must-win game for head coach Shaka Smart and the Longhorns as they close out the regular season with three important contests this week that will determine Big 12 tournament seeding and help determine NCAA tournament seeding.

For a Texas team that doesn’t have much momentum at the moment, it’s a critical and must-win game with Iowa State sitting at two wins this season and winless in conference play. The Cyclones are also without leading scorer Rasir Bolton, the junior guard who is out with an ankle injury.
