The Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team improved in the latest AP Poll.

Texas moved up to No. 13 nationally, two spots ahead of last week’s ranking.

That’s largely due to the Longhorns’ consistent play last week, in which the team managed to hold off the Oklahoma Sooners last week, following that performance up with another win over the TCU Horned Frogs to close out the 2020-2021 college basketball season.

That means Texas is heading into the Big 12 Tournament as the No. seed.

The Longhorns won’t be alone, however.

The Baylor Bears managed to jump back into the nation’s No. 2 spot in this week’s rankings.

Elsewhere in the Big 12, the West Virginia Mountaineers fell to No. 10, the Kansas Jayhawks improved to No. 11, the Oklahoma State Cowboys improved to No. 12, the Texas Tech Red Raiders fell to No. 20, and, last but not least, Oklahoma fell to No. 25 in the latest rankings.
