Texas Longhorns football is ranked No. 12 in ESPN’s first Football Power Index for 2021.

Notably, the Longhorns are ranked behind three Big 12 opponents: the Oklahoma Sooners (No. 2), the Iowa State Cyclones (No. 4) and the Oklahoma State Cowboys (No. 9.)

The TCU Horned Frogs (No. 19), Texas Tech Red Raiders (No. 21) and West Virginia Mountaineers (No. 24) were also included in the list.
