The Longhorns have been on Dewberry’s trail dating back to his freshman year and they remain in the thick of it heading into the final stretch of his recruitment.
Even with the coaching staff change, Texas has remained a constant for Dewberry, as Steve Sarkisian and offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Kyle Flood have been hard at work on the in-state elite prospect.
There is going to be no shortage of competition for Dewberry’s commitment with Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M rounding out his group of finalists, so the Texas coaching staff will need to continue to plug away if they want to win out here.
The Aggies currently hold the only Crystal Ball prediction for the 6’4, 313-pounder.
