Texas offers 4-star OT Cameron Williams

Longhorns enter sweepstakes for Duncanville offensive tackle Cameron Williams.

Collin Kennedy, 247Sports

Texas has extended an offer to Duncanville (TX) four star offensive tackle Cameron Williams this evening.

Williams is the 33rd ranked offensive tackle in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings and is the 296th ranked player overall. Williams is listed as a massive 6’5, 360 pounds is one of the bigger offensive line prospects in the state.

With the Longhorns extending offer, Williams now has an even 30 offers on his resume including offers from Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Oregon, and Texas A&M.

Williams is currently slated to make an official visit to Oregon to see the Ducks early next month and now with the Longhorns in the mix I would expect them for them to push to get one his official visit spots.

Offensive line coach Kyle Flood has been hard at work building relationships since arriving in Austin, and those relationships will need to pay off in a big way this cycle after the Longhorns had an underwhelming haul in the trenches in 2021.
