Report: 5-star DE Omari Abor making visit to Texas

Per Mike Roach of 247Sports, five star Duncaville (TX) edge rusher Omar Abor will be making an unofficial visit to Austin later this month once the dead period is lifted.

Abor is the 23rd ranked overall player in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings and he has already had official visits to Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.

Getting Abor on campus is a small victory for the Longhorn staff given that it has been a real uphill slog for them to get their foot in the door of his recruitment.

Abor has one final official visit to use for the fall if he decides and the Longhorns will have to find a way to get that slot if they want to have any chance at all of being in the conversation come decision day.
