The final week of previewing the Texas Longhorns’ 2021 schedule brings us to the Kansas State Wildcats - who are hoping to rebound off of a disappointing year thanks to injuries and COVID-19 protocols. Head coach Chris Klieman is heading into his third year on the sidelines after replacing legendary coach Bill Snyder, hoping that year three looks more like year one in an effort to keep himself off of the hot seat. Thankfully for him, he brings back Skylar Thompson and Deuce Vaughn - two dynamic playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. This team may not resemble your typical Kansas State team - being led by the offense rather than the defense.
So what are expectations for year three of the Klieman era? Can they get it done relying on the offense or will they need to rely on the transfers on the defensive side of the ball to hold things down?
