Ever since the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners announced they were setting sail for greener pastures in the SEC, there’s been talk about the AAC potentially swallowing up the remaining eight members of the Big 12. That, however, may not be true after all.

“We are not looking at realignment and we are not out there attempting to take teams,” Aresco told 247Sports.

How true might that be in the long run? It’s hard to say. Anything could happen at this point.
