Welcome to the SEC?

I get it, Texas earned all if the vitriol people can sling at them right now. We lost to Arkansas, and we lost bad. No question, we can be honest about it and hopefully, move on. So when someone tries to throw shade at Texas and make us 2nd guess our decision to move to the SEC, it's justified. We sucked Saturday night.

That said, I thought it would be fun to address the actual issue. While it's true few can keep up with Alabama, ever, Texas actually has a fairly decent record vs SEC schools in the last 4 years. Remember the bowl games vs Missouri and Georgia? We played great and won both games without any question marks. Or what about the game against LSU? The one where Joe Burrow won the Heisman that year and a national title? We lost, but wasn't it like, 4 overtimes? Just kidding. But we only lost by 7 and just missed the onside kick.

I'm just saying, this was one game and we've hung with SEC schools recently. It's not indicative of anything other than this game this year. New coach, new QB et all. Let the haters hate. Texas and OU will have to grow into it. Learn some lessons along the way. But good recruits love the SEC. It may take some adjusting, but we'll get there.
