The Texas Longhorns fell from No. 2 to No. 3 in 247Sports’ latest power rankings, following their embarrassing loss to the unranked Arkansas Razorbacks over the weekend.
From 247Sports: “With a ranked win under its belt, Texas looked like the real deal after Week 1. But the Longhorns followed that up by getting soundly handled by an Arkansas team that won three games last year. Texas does not tumble far this week because the Razorbacks still were an SEC opponent, which is tough for any team. But Texas might have shown us all that it is a pretender again this year.”
Indeed. It certainly seems that way so far this season.
