Texas sophomore running back Bijan Robinson, one of the nation’s top up-and-coming athletes on the college football gridiron, loves barbecue. And for damn good reason.
In particular, Pinkerton’s Barbecue.
On Thursday, the restaurant announced it had signed Robinson to a name, image and likeness deal. It’s unclear how much the deal will be worth, but I do think it’s worth suggesting that Robinson will be well fed now and into the near future.
We are excited to be partnered with AND the official BBQ of @Bijan5Robinson! He is a phenomenal young man, electric football player and a true ambassador of football in the great state of Texas. Bijan Robinson- Powered by Pinkerton’s pic.twitter.com/FazBnFD1TW

NEWS ACROSS THE FORTY ACRES AND BEYOND
- Texas alum Sam Ehlinger recently landed on the NFL’s injured reserve list.
With Sam Ehlinger out at least a month, it will be fascinating to see what the Colts do -- or don't do -- at quarterback.
