The Texas Longhorns are off this week for a bye, and the coaches are on the road.

But fear not, Texas football addicts. There’s a fix.

As Burnt Orange Nation noted earlier this week, former four-year starter Sam Ehlinger, who in part defined the Longhorns’ Tom Herman era, has earned his first start at quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. It’s unclear how well it’ll go – the Colts are hit or miss this year – but it’s a big moment for Ehlinger nonetheless as a former 2021 NFL Draft seventh round pick.
