Texas Longhorns alum Jordan Hicks, who was recruited to Texas by former head coach Mack Brown, is no longer a member of the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced this week. Hicks is coming off a strong season, where he started all 17 games in Arizona.
From 247Sports’ breakdown of Hicks’ recent performance: “Last season, Hicks finished with 116 total tackles, 75 solo tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks (career high), two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and five pass deflections. In his career, Hicks has 638 total tackles, 427 solo tackles, 41 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, nine fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles, 11 interceptions, 34 pass deflections and one defensive touchdown.”
