One-time Texas Longhorns head coaching candidate – a fan hopeful, really – Urban Meyer can’t seem to stay out of the public eye in recent months. First, it was the lap-dance thing. Then Meyer was fired from the Jacksonville Jaguars before the end of his first year. Now, he’s back in the news thanks to The Athletic. During his brief tenure in the NFL, Meyer apparently didn’t know of NFL stars like LA Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, and more.
“Who’s this 99 guy on the Rams?” Meyer asked one staffer during the season, according to The Athletic. “I’m hearing he might be a problem for us.”
Turns out Meyer was the actual problem.
