Following starting redshirt sophomore quarterback Quinn Ewers’ injury against the Houston Cougars last weekend, in addressing the media early this week, Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian said both redshirt freshman Maalik Murphy and true freshman Arch Manning will receive first-team reps during practice this week, according to Inside Texas.
“If the game was being played today, Maalik would start the game,” Sarkisian reportedly said. “Again, Arch will be ready to go.”
That shoulder answer that, folks.
