Longhorns Daily News: Analyst: Texas’ Big 12 success depends on Quinn Ewers’ performance

Plus: Moving on in the NCAAs for Texas baseball

2023 University of Texas Spring Football Game Set Number: X164345 TK1

It’s that time of year in which we, and the world’s Texas Longhorns analysts, point out the obvious. That includes the fact that Texas’ success in their Big 12 stretch this season depends on returning starter and redshirt sophomore Quinn Ewers’ overall performance.

“There’s no more excuses. And that’s a beautiful thing if you’re Quinn Ewers. Because you’re ready to make good on all that’s been said about you in a positive manner, all the trust that’s been put in you. To the same token, if Texas doesn’t achieve it, where else do you look?,” asked On3 analyst JD Pickell. “What I’m trying to say is there’s no more excuses for Quinn Ewers. There’s nowhere else to point if Texas doesn’t achieve what they want to achieve in 2023.”
