Coming off a Big 12 title and appearance in the College Football Playoffs, preparation to enter the SEC for the 2024 season concludes during the spring with the annual Orange-White game on April 20 at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, the school announced on Thursday.

The kick-off time is to be determined, but as always, admission to the game is free and provides a preview of the 2024 Texas team ahead of the season opener against Colorado State on August 31.

And as is now the norm under athletics director Chris Del Conte, the Orange-White game will feature the complete game-day experience, including Bevo Blvd., Smokey’s Midway, Hook ‘Em Hangout, and Longhorn City Limits.

The spring-ending scrimmage is also the featured event during the “Made in Austin Weekend” from April 19-21 that includes a home baseball series against TCU as well as live music, specialty food and beverage offerings, live art installations, and dog-friendly events.
