It became official last night, as coach Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines clinched their first national championship in decades. Their win came over the Washington Huskies.

And while Texas was eliminated by Washington in the College Football Playoff’s semifinals, Texas, instead, will get to face the reigning national champions in non-conference play next year. On Sept. 7, the Longhorns will travel to Ann Arbor to take on the Wolverines at home.
