Texas Longhorns offer four-star small forward Jonathan Isaac

Texas and Shaka Smart become the latest to offer four-star small forward Jonathan Isaac.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Shaka Smart and the Texas Longhorns are now the latest program to extend an offer to four-star small forward Jonathan Isaac., who is a member of the 2016 class.

Isaac is currently slotted at No. 50 in the 2016 ESPN 60. The 6’9" product out of the IMG Academy in Florida would bring tremendous length to a Longhorns perimeter that has been void of much notable size for some time now, with the exception of Jonathan Holmes being forced out there as a senior.

If Texas were to emerge as a legitimate candidate for Isaac’s services, Smart and his staff will have their work cut out for them, as Florida State currently leads the race for the in-state product. Isaac also recently received offers from Maryland, West Virginia and Florida, among others.
