Texas Longhorns women's basketball reaches historic 1,000-win milestone

'Horns beat Kansas 70-46 to make history.

The Texas Longhorns women's basketball team reached a four-digit number of total wins with a victory over the Kansas Jayhawks Wednesday night.

Following the win, confetti rained down on the team and they were presented with a crystal vase filled with 1,000 orange and white M&Ms.

Only four other programs -- Tennessee, Louisiana Tech, James Madison and Old Dominion -- have reached 1,000 wins. With the win, the team also improved to 19-1 on the season. Check out the tribute video above to this program milestone.
