So far, so good for Texas Longhorns basketball.

The No. 23 ‘Horns reached 2-0 Monday night with a 59-80 win over the ULM Warhawks in the Legends Classic.

The win wasn’t quite as easy as the final score suggests, with Texas leading by only four early in the second half, but the ‘Horns pulled away at the end for a convincing victory.

The leading scores for the ‘Horns were Tevin Mack (14 points, 5 of 9 on field goals, 4 of 6 from three-point range), Andrew Jones (12 points, 3 of 6 on field goals) and Kendal Yancy (12 points, 5 of 6 on field goals, 1 of 1 on threes).

The next match up for Texas is on Thursday at home against Eastern Washington.
