Of all the new players on the Texas Longhorns basketball roster this year, none has come from as far away as Elijah Long. The junior guard transferred from Mount St. Mary’s, but originally hails from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Long has been playing basketball since the age 10. He’s got other talents as well, especially drawing.
“I’m driven to be successful because the people around me are very successful as well,” he says. “I want to be where they’re at when it’s all said and done.”
