The Texas Longhorns will play the North Carolina Tar Heels on Thursday, Nov. 22 (Thanksgiving Day) in the semifinals of the Las Vegas Invitational from Orleans Arena. The matchup will be nationally televised on FS1 at 6:30 C.T. Michigan State will square off with UCLA in the other semifinal matchup about 30 minutes following the conclusion of the Texas-North Carolina game.
The winners will face off in the Championship game on Friday, Nov. 23 at 5:30 C.T. on FOX and the two losing teams will play before at 3:00 C.T.

Texas beat No. 3 North Carolina 84-82 at the buzzer in Shaka Smart’s first season. Javan Felix drilled an open shot from the wing after barely getting the shot off at the .01 second mark. The Longhorns have won five out of the last six meetings the Tar Heels dating back to 2009 and hold a 7-3 all-time series lead.
